I was in a dark, cold place and some man started hitting me and strangling me. I could not break free. I was choking to death and he punched me in my mouth. It was somebody I knew but I can't figure out who it was.
Somebody I've known for a long time.
Then I woke up from my dogs barking at my door, and I had a bloody nose and my lips were numb.
